What aspects of photography do you enjoy most?
I love that photography opens your eyes to the beauty that is all around us. It trains your eyes so you can find something visually pleasing out of something others might not find beautiful at all - even something as simple as a rusty, old, tin garbage can.
Please tell us about your banner image:
This particular image came from a 20-minute photoshoot for a video I made awhile back. I loved all of the images from this quick session.

Please tell us about your favorite images:
I feel so fortunate to be able to photograph so many amazing women. These are just a few favorites.
How did you learn about Forbeyon?
I discovered Forbeyon in a past issue of PPA magazine. I was then able to see their products firsthand at WPPI a few years back.

What inspired you to use Forbeyon?
I researched different album companies for many months and none could match Forbeyon in so many different areas (high quality, fair price, excellent customer service). These were all huge selling points for me. I am so happy I did my homework and went with Forbeyon!

What advice would you give to the first time buyers of Forbeyon albums?
Definitely take advantage of Forbeyon’s sample album prices. Having a sample album on-hand is a valuable sales tool since I sell what I show. And don’t hesitate to contact Forbeyon representatives if you have any questions - they are always super helpful and friendly!

If you could create your ultimate album, what would it look like?
The ultimate album to me is one that is as individual as each of my clients. Forbeyon’s outstanding array of different cover options already makes it possible to match each album to each client’s personality.

How do you sell albums?
I make sure to bring a sample album to every photo session or client meeting so they can see and feel them firsthand. The albums seem to sell themselves this way. My clients adore them from the very first glance!

As a photographer, what is your most important objective when shooting?
To find and capture the beauty of each and every client. Beyond producing pleasing imagery, it is incredibly important to create an exceptional experience for my clients. I want them to enjoy every second of their boudoir session from start to finish and carry it with them always. And with boudoir, the client’s comfort is key. It’s not a normal occurrence for most of my clients to come out in front of a perfect stranger in their delicates. Afterall, it’s hard enough for us women to see ourselves just trying on swimsuits in dressing rooms every year. So, I try to make this as comfortable of a process as possible for them.

What do you do during the season’s "downtime"?
I cry … a lot. Totally kidding. I have only had one month this year that I would really consider downtime, fortunately. I made the most of it by concentrating more on further developing and implementing my marketing plan. Downtime provides the opportunity to get out and become even more inspired by the world around us. Make lunch dates with friends. Exercise more. Travel. Read. Refine your business plan. Learn more about your craft. That’s what I like to do anyway.
